Et par ord om det netop overståede EU-valg, og hvorfor Yeshuas budskab er mere vigtigt nu, end nogensinde.

Ovenpå det netop overståede valg om Danmarks EU retsforbehold, fyger det med anklager fra højre og venstre om, hvem der har ansvaret for at danskerne valgte at sige nej til en ophævelse af forbeholdene. En professor er endda gået så langt som til at kalde danskerne ‘pinlige fedtspillere’, der ikke ønsker at tage et medansvar i udviklingen af det europæiske samarbejde.

Danskernes generelle mistillid til EU skal først og fremmest findes i danskernes stigende mistillid til politikere generelt. Det er klart, at når vælgerne oplever den ene sag efter den anden, sager, som egentlig rækker helt tilbage til da Anders Fogh Rasmussen fiflede med de økonomiske tal, og siden bedrog den danske befolkning i forhold til Irakkrisen, har vi oplevet hvordan den ene politiker efter den anden (af en eller anden grund med vægt på venstrepolitikere), på den ene eller anden måde, har haft fingrene i kagedåsen, uden af den grund at ville påtage sig noget ansvar for overtrædelserne.

Alt dette har været med til at skabe en kultur, hvor man ikke finder det problematisk at den kloge snyder den mindre kloge, og hvor enkeltpersoner bøjer regler og love til det yderste, for egen vindings skyld. Det ser ikke ud til at nogen af disse politiker, på noget tidspunkt i deres gøren og laden, har ladet sig anfægte af nogen former for samvittighedsnag. Går den, så går den. Går den ikke, forsøger man at tale sig ud af vanskelighederne ved at fornægte facts og ofte ved direkte at lyve. Når så også dette afsløres, træder man blot et skridt tilbage, børster skidtet af sig, venter en stund, hvorefter man stille og roligt genfinder en taburet, som man så forsøger at holde sig på med superlim og sugekopper.

Danskernes NEJ er et NEJ til uhæderlige og inkompetente politikere, og danske politikere må snart forstå, at løgne og fordrejninger ikke bliver sande eller faktuelt rigtige, blot fordi de gentages og gentages og gentages. Danskerne gider ikke mere pis. Og deres NEJ er et sundt NEJ. Vi har netop nu en håndfuld politikere, der nærmest ikke kan vente med at forære firmaer som Monasanto ALT på et sølvfad.

Politikere alle vegne er med til at sætte dagsordenen, ikke mindst den etiske og moralske. Og når den halter, halter alt. Det er ikke mere nok at have ordene i sin magt. Enhver kan sige hvad som helst, påstå hvad som helst, men hvis ikke det flugter med virkeligheden og følges op af handling, er det værdiløst, og skaber blot endnu mere politikerlede.

Der var ingen vindere ved det netop overståede valg, kun tabere. Og taberne er Europas befolkning. EU trænger til en gevaldig oprydning og en genskoling af de parlamentarikere, der skal arbejde sammen og skabe resultater for menneskeheden først og for industrien derefter. Hvis ikke handelsaftaler skabes på et ordenligt etisk grundlag, vil de kun akkumulere flere problemer end de løser.

Vi har ikke brug for levebrødspolitikere, men for ægte statsmænd og kvinder, der forstår at man kun kan herske ved at tjene folket.
