Description of the talk 

It was one day in 1984 when Lars Muhl first encountered the true essence of Mariam the Magdalene in a scripture. He held in his hands the first English translation of the Gospel of Philip from the Nag Hammadi writings, and his view of her at that time opened up into a whole new dimension through reading these documents.

It was the beginning of an intense search for the truth about this amazing woman who undoubtedly played a significant role in the mission of Yeshua the Nazarene (Jesus).

As a cosmic archetype, she represents a long line of female avatars who worked on the same level as their male counterparts, but were never recognized.

‘Although in the background it is always a matter of bringing the Feminine and Masculine Principles into harmony in every human being, woman or man, in every situation or thought –  now is the time for us to contribute actively and consciously to giving the Feminine Principle its due place. In the consciousness of our society as much as within ourselves.’

Using the example of Mariam the Magdalene – Mary the Exalted, Mary the Master – Lars Muhl helps us to experience how we can open our consciousness to the feminine qualities.

She, who was trained as a Moon Priestess, embodied these qualities at the highest level during her lifetime, and alongside Yeshua, taught with him the path of freedom through the unity of the Feminine and Masculine polarities.

‘I and my Bride are One’, Yeshua said in the Gospel of the Nazarenes, ‘Just as Mariam the Magdalene, whom I have chosen as my example, is One with me’.

Lars will take us on a journey, following his research. We will practice some of the ancient practices from the Essene and Therapeutic Mystery Schools, contributing to healing and transformation of the Divine Feminine within ourselves as well as in society.

You can expect an evening full of healing, mysticism and divine femininity.

TS – In your books the Feminine Principle is also a very important topic. And of course also Mary Magdalene. In your book ‘Magdalene’ you describe quite wonderfully the path of her initiation and her learning to recognize the Goddess in herself. We never heard about this in the Church, but it’s so important to realize: what is the Feminine Principle, and do we all need to realize more deeply – and in a new way – what this principle means for our lives?

LM – I think so, yes. I think the time is ripe for us to really understand what the Feminine Principle really is. We’re used to talking a lot about men and women. This is about feminine and masculine. Of course, it also has something to do with men and women, but that’s not what we’re talking about right now. We are talking about feminine and masculine.

Beschreibung des Vortrags

Als Lars Muhl zum ers­ten Mal in ei­ner Schrift der wahr­haf­ti­gen Es­senz von Ma­ri­am der Mag­da­le­na be­geg­net ist, war es der Be­ginn ei­ner in­ten­si­ven Su­che nach der Wahr­heit über die­se er­staun­li­che Frau, die oh­ne Zwei­fel ei­ne be­deu­ten­de Rol­le in der Mis­si­on von Yeshua dem Na­za­re­ner (Je­sus) spiel­te.

Als kos­mi­scher Ar­che­typ re­prä­sen­tiert Ma­ri­am die Mag­da­le­na ei­ne lan­ge Rei­he von weib­li­chen Ava­ta­ren, die auf glei­cher Ebe­ne wie ih­re männ­li­chen Ge­gen­s­tü­cke wirk­ten, aber nie an­er­kannt wur­den.

Auch wenn es im Hin­ter­grund im­mer dar­um geht, das Weib­li­che und das Männ­li­che Prin­zip in je­dem Men­schen, ob Frau oder Mann, in je­der Si­tua­ti­on oder in je­dem Ge­dan­ken in Har­mo­nie zu brin­gen, ist nun die Zeit dafür, dass wir ak­tiv und be­wusst da­zu bei­tra­gen, dass das Weib­li­che Prin­zip mehr und mehr so­wie im ge­sell­schaft­li­chen Be­wusst­sein als auch in uns sel­ber den ihm ge­büh­ren­den Platz er­hält.

Ma­ri­am die Mag­da­le­na, die als Mond­pries­te­rin aus­ge­bil­det war, hat die­se Qua­litä­ten auf höchs­ter Ebe­ne zu ih­rer Leb­zeit ver­kör­pert, und an der Sei­te von Yeshua mit ihm zu­sam­men den Weg der Frei­heit durch die Ein­heit der Weib­li­chen und Männ­li­chen Po­la­ritä­ten ge­lehrt.

Am Bei­spiel von Ma­ri­am der Mag­da­le­na – Ma­ria, der Er­höh­ten, Ma­ria der Meis­te­rin – lässt Lars uns an die­sem Abend er­le­ben, wie wir un­ser Be­wusst­sein zu den weib­li­chen Qua­litä­ten öff­nen kön­nen. Er wird uns mit­neh­men auf ei­ne Rei­se, in die Tie­fen sei­ner For­schun­gen.
