Lystrilogien – ny bog af Lars Muhl er udkommet fra forlaget Harper Collins.

‘Lystrilogien’ er den samlede udgivelse af: ‘Zoé’, ‘Taxo Luma’ og ‘Lyset i et menneskes hjerte’ – alle i let reviderede udgaver og med et nyt samlende forord. En episk trilogi om menneskets åndelige søgen mod indsigt og klarhed. I de tre bøger møder vi fortællerens feminine aspekt i form af kvindeskikkelserne Zoé, Taxo og Ishatar, der tager læseren med på en svimlende metafysisk rejse gennem fortid og fremtid ind i det evige NU.

Lars Muhl forklarer:

I 1991 flyttede jeg til Samsø. Det var et tidspunkt i mit liv, hvor jeg havde brug for at skifte gear. Jeg indstillede turnélivet og begyndte et mere indadskuende liv, hvor Samsøs overdådige natur blev et åbnende og healende element. I den proces begyndte jeg at gå på opdagelse i min egen fortid, et forløb der udmøntede sig i et manuskript på mere end firehundrede maskinskrevne sider. Ikke et øjeblik havde jeg overvejet, at skriverierne skulle udmønte sig i en bog. Det var først efter, at en god ven havde gennemlæst manuskriptet, at jeg blev overbevist om, at det kunne blive til en bog, når først alle de mest private sider var blevet siet fra. Det resulterede i min første litterære udgivelse, ‘Sjæl i Flammer’.

Bogen var netop udkommet, da jeg allerede var i færd med nye skriverier. Det var, som havde jeg taget hul på en uudslukkelig kilde af arketypisk stof, som jeg senere fandt ud af havde rødder langt tilbage i tidligere liv. Det var under arbejdet med det, der skulle blive til min anden udgivelse, bogen ‘Zoé’, at jeg fra den ene dag til den anden blev ramt af den udiagnosticerbare ‘sygdom’, som mere eller mindre bandt mig til sengen i de næste tre år. Bogen udkom og fik en meget blandet modtagelse. En avis gav den et midteropslag i søndagsavisen og sammenlignede bogen med Herman Hesses ‘Siddhartha’, mens en anden kritiker fuldstændig hudflettede ikke bare bogen, men også dens forfatter.

Tre år senere fik jeg, ved seeren Calle dé Montsegurs hjælp, et helt nyt liv, da han gennem en fem minutter lang telefonsamtale fik mig på benene igen. Et halvt år senere tog jeg til Frankrig, hvor jeg påbegyndte et samarbejde med Calle som hans elev. Efter et års arbejde i Pyrenæerne i Frankrig inviterede han mig til Fuengirola i Andalusien, hvor han boede.

Den første aften, hvor jeg lå i min seng i mit værelse i hans lejlighed, fik jeg øje på en bog i hans lille bitte reol. Calle var ikke den store læser, så derfor kom det fuldstændig bag på mig at finde min bog ‘Zoé’ i hans reol. Da jeg lidt efter rakte bogen frem mod ham og spurgte, hvor han havde den fra, svarede han, at den havde han fået foræret af vores fælles veninde, Pia Raug, og at det var den bog, der var hovedårsagen til, at han havde genkendt mig, og at han forstod, at han og jeg skulle arbejde sammen.

‘Zoé’ er en profetisk bog. Den forudså mit møde med Calle, tre år før mødet faktisk fandt sted, ligesom den forudsiger de tider, vi befinder os i netop nu.

Bogen har været utilgængelig i årevis, men udgør nu første bog i ‘Lystrilogien’, som også indeholder en anden profetisk bog ‘Taxo Luma’ samt bogen ‘Lyset i et menneskes hjerte’. Jeg anser trilogien for at være mit litterære svendestykke.
