Min ven og lærer, seeren, Calle de Montsegur, sagde tit og ofte: ‘Hvis bare menneskene kunne se dét, som jeg er i stand til at se, så ville de øjeblikkeligt stoppe op og fuldstændig forandre retning’.

Jeg spurgte ham ligeså ofte, hvad det var, han så, som vi andre tilsyneladende ikke ser. Og så forklarede han mig, hvordan æteren er fyldt med tunge og usymmetriske tankeformer, der alle er resultatet af menneskers ubalancer, angst, begær, vrede, had, jalousi, magtsyge, mindreværd og storhedsvanvid, samt hvordan disse tunge tankeformer står i vejen for al åndelige udvikling.

Vi lever i et samfund, som ikke anerkender at mennesket først og fremmest er et åndeligt væsen. Når man ikke gør det, så cirkler man rundt i en ond ring på et mellemstadie af fysik og psyke, der, set i åndsvidenskabeligt lys, lukker for det potentiale og de kvaliteter, vi tørster efter, men kun kan forbinde os med på et åndeligt plan.

Det er forståeligt, at dette paradoks kan være svært at forstå for mennesker, hvis eneste berøring med spiritualitet og ånd, måske er et besøg på en helsemesse eller de forvrængede okkulte fremstillinger af spiritualitet, der oftere og oftere misbruges som underholdning i medierne, i litteratur, film og på TV.

Der findes ikke i Danmark en dyb, folkelig, spirituel tradition, der kan råde bod på dette. Alligevel mener en kapacitet som Dalai Lama, at vi, der her i vesten er vokset op i et kristent samfund, bør fordybe os i Kristendommens esoteriske side.

Det er det, jeg nu har brugt en meget stor del af mit liv på. Gennem et aldrig stagnerende studie af det aramæiske sprog, som var det sprog Yeshua (Jesus) talte, har jeg fundet en nøgle til den utrolige visdom og åndsvidenskab, der gemmer sig i både Det Gamle og Det Ny Testamente. Mange af de uforståelige udsagn, som Yeshua er citeret for at have sagt i Ny Testamente, åbner sig på vidunderligste vis, når man kender den guddommelige psykologi, der gemmer sig bag det aramæiske sprog.

Hele Yeshuas lære udtrykker en LYSETS LOV, som ikke er en lov trykt i en bog, men en lov, som vi alle bærer i hjertet. Desværre lever vi i et samfund, der ikke hylder eller respektere denne lov, hvorfor menneskers hjerter fryser til is, eller lukker sig og bliver til sten. Man mister fuldstændig forbindelse til egen åndelige essens, man ved i grunden ikke hvem man er, hvor man kommer fra, hvad man laver her, eller hvor man er på vej hen. Man klynger sig til det ydre, det materielle, det overfladiske, uden at det bringer en nærmere det, man søger, men ikke ved hvad er.

Vi har glemt, at ALT, hvad vi sender ud, på et eller andet tidspunkt vender tilbage til os; at man i virkeligheden kun kan eje det, man er i stand til at give fra sig; at det eneste, vi i virkeligheden savner, er alt det, vi selv mangler at give.

Yeshua var foregangsmand for sådan en etik og empati. Han ønskede at sætte hvert enkelt menneske fri af egoets, egenkærlighedens og selvretfærdighedens fangeskab. Han helbredte mennesker gennem sin visdom og sin forbindelse til menneskets højeste potentiale. Men han var også aktivist. I Ny Testamente kan vi læse, hvordan han f.eks. ryddede Tempelpladsen for grådige vekselerer og købmænd.

For mig at se betyder dette at vi, samtidig med at vi arbejder med vort højere potentiale på et indre plan, også skal påpege uretten, der, hvor den stikker sit allestedsnærværende og usympatiske fjæs frem i den omgivende verden. Himmeriget er ikke blot en indre tilstand, men også en tilstand, der skal have ben at gå på, og komme til udtryk i daglidagen.

LYSETS LOV kan praktiseres alle steder. Den kommer til udtryk gennem et imødekommende smil, en hjælpsom hånd, et afbalanceret og givende væsen, der ikke går af vejen for at opgive sin plads i køen til fordel for den, der har virkelig behov for den. Hvis din næstes succes også er din succes, og din næstes konkurs er vor alles konkurs, hvem kan da nægte nogen noget?
