Prinsesse Märtha Louise & Elisabeth Nordengs nye bog Sensitive børn’ er udkommet på forlaget Lemuel Books.

Vi lever i en tid, hvor flere og flere børn og unge ser ud til at have svært ved at håndtere den virkelighed og det samfund, vi har skabt. Og i stedet for at behandle disse børn og unge med respekt for deres forskelligheder, mødes de som oftest med en lang række diagnoser og medicin. Havde jeg været barn i dag, ville jeg uden tvivl være blevet tildelt samtlige bogstavdiagnoser, mens jeg samtidig havde kæmpet en kamp for at undgå den medicin, der blot ønsker at pacificere og ’lukke ned’ for alt det, der ikke passer ind i et samfund, der tilsyneladende ikke ønsker reel udvikling.

Det forekommer underligt, at ingen synes at have øje for at disse sensitive børn og unge måske er her for at advare os andre om, at det er tid at ændre kurs. Måske er de her for at stille spørgsmål ved den måde, vi behandler hinanden på, og til de markedskræfter, der i alt for lang tid har sat profit over mennesker. Ja, eller hvad med den så højt besungne ytringsfrihed?

For nogle år siden stod medierne i kø for at forsvare netop ytringsfriheden. Det var i kølvandet på de famøse Muhammed-tegninger, og der var ingen ende på, hvor langt man ville gå for at forsvare retten til at sige og skrive hvad som helst. Man må imidlertid indse, at denne frihedskamp er forstummet. For hvis du ytrer dig om de vacciner, man ukritisk knalder ind i næsten nyfødte børn, så er du vaccinemodstander og bliver betragtet som én, der tror, at Jorden er flad etc. Dine indsigelser og læsebreve trykkes ikke, du får simpelthen ingen taletid nogen steder.

Det samme gjaldt den kritik, nogle luftede i forbindelse med det danske drikkevand for ti år siden. Den var helt forfejlet, sagde man, for det danske drikkevand var det bedste i verden. Det var det, lige indtil man begyndte at måle for de pesticider, som landbruget i årtier har forgiftet det danske grundvand med.

Eller hvad med de tilsætningsstoffer, vi forgifter vores madvarer med, eller den stråling, som man allerede nu, med brugen af 3G og 4G, kan konstatere påvirker unge og børn i en sådan grad, at stigningen af lidelser, man ingen navn har for, er eksploderet de seneste år.

Når vi tager alle disse ting i betragtning, er der intet at sige til, at summen af sensitive børn ligeledes nærmer sig det eksplosive.

Når man lige ser bort fra Greta Thunberg, skrives der ikke så meget om sensitive børn, ja, man skulle nærmest tro, at disse børn slet ikke eksisterer. Nu foreligger der imidlertid en bog, der tager emnet alvorligt. Det drejer sig om Prinsesse Märtha Louise og Elisabeth Nordeng, hvis bog ‘Sensitive Børn’ udkom på forlaget Lemuel Books tidligere på året. Den kan absolut anbefales til alle forældre, der lige nu står med et barn, der kræver særlig opmærksomhed. Læs bogen og bliv klogere på dit barn, og glem ikke, at du selv engang var barn og ung.

Husk, at ikke alle nødvendigvis bliver lykkelig af den samme skoling eller at skulle gå ’den slagne vej’. Man kan sagtens blive ’til noget’ ved at gå sin egen vej. Så i stedet for at diagnosticere og medicinere, så er det måske bedre, at man går sit barn i møde på barnets betingelser og ikke på samfundets og medicinalindustriens.

Har du et særligt sensitivt barn, eller går du mon og tænker over, om du har det? Eller måske omgås du særligt sensitive børn til hverdag? Særlig sensitivitet er et karaktertræk, som ny forskning viser, at op imod 30 procent af alle mennesker er født med. Deres nervesystem er fintfølende.

De særligt sensitive børn ‘downloader’ flere informationer fra omgivelserne, og de opfanger nemt ‘skjulte’ signaler og undertoner. De er ofte meget empatiske og omsorgsfulde, kreative og fantasifulde.

Et sensitivt barn er IKKE et sygt barn. Det er blot anderledes, og det er der en rigtig god grund til. Dit barn er ikke alene en gave til dig og din familie, men til samfundet og os alle.
